Maria Torres, MS, RDN, is the Culinary Medicine Instructor at California Health Sciences University-College of Osteopathic Medicine (CHSU-COM). Maria currently educates first and second-year osteopathic students on the importance of nutrition education and how it can be incorporated in patient interactions. Maria is also actively involved in research projects to educate the community on tips to eating more nutrient-dense foods while keeping cultural backgrounds in mind.
